This emoji was first introduced in Unicode 1.1 and was later added to Emoji 11.0. G5 update by LG was the first to bring in Zero Width Joiner emoji on April 1, 2016. Zero Width Joiner emoji was rolled out by LG on April 1, 2016 with G5 update.
